The Slut Lover's Predicament

Stop!

Heart beat is strained, blood flow constricted.

Breath comes in spasms and sanity is restricted.

When you walk in the door and you light up the floor, with your footsteps coloring the path behind you red.

It’s not blood I see pooling in the wounds you leave behind, but the aura of a passion that will never be sanguine.

You come camouflaged behind your sparkling teeth, low cut blouse and hip hugging jeans. You sway, you swish and you make everyone swoon. Delicious innuendos in every lurid move.

Bathed in disco lights, you’re colored by a rainbow, each curve highlighted, for hungry eyes, to the perfect glow.
Tongues wag and boxers grow tight even the ladies can’t resist the sight

of your body throbbing with temptation, setting fantasies aflame, and igniting passion.

I love you. You seem to want to forget, as you vie for affection from everyone else.

I wish I could be mean, and shallow and possessive, throw a jacket around you and drag you back home and tell you that you belong to me. And me alone,

But I’m not shallow and possessive; no I’m enlightened and moderate. I’ll let you entice everyone’s eyes, and suffer ignominy at the party tonight.

And I’m not self righteous or archaic, I’m an open minded adult and it doesn’t bother me in the least how you flaunt your assets. Sure slip a nipple in front of an unsuspecting lout. Or bend down to give him an eye full of ass. I’ll just smile and wink and even shove you towards him, hoping that he will claim you for once. And maybe then you’ll know the game you play is fraught with peril since you don’t seem to see what it does to me.

But I’m not vindictive or petty, I won’t make you sweat your nasty habits. I love you for who you are, and if you are an attention whore that’s just my luck. But is it too much to ask for you to be a little more modest a little more discreet? A little more like you care about me?

Maybe it is, and maybe I am shallow and vindictive and petty and possessive cuz fuck you bitch, I ain’t takin no more of this shit!

Dedicated to the brother who didn't know when to duck out and cut his losses. The one who proves that love is indeed blind. Also dumb.
Hope he never reads this. :P

sca and maj, pakistans hardly past half a century of freedom and the coming generations havent the darnest idea why it was made. and ur talkin about confused individual morals? lol

i know some very sensible pakistani youth *otherwise* here in dubai, who're all pro enlightened moderation. what the hell is wrong with them? oh and the, building a soft image of pakistan. lol. dont solve the issues at home, just fake an image so the world loves us. yeah right.

beknighted - i loved ur comment in the end. hilarious

Scavenger:
Nothing is wrong with Pakistan, i think we're a-okay for an infant nation, and that is what we are. Add to that the constipated mentality the sub continental muslims have always been plagued by and it all makes sense. Its en masse confusion really, polarizing the populace towards extremes. But the halter tops and the rampant sex and the emulation of western values has always been here. I think its actually a welcome change that people have started to more widely accept and acknowledge otherwise closeted behaviour. For better or worse, thsi will eventually lead to revolution and thts what every infant nation needs to bring it into adolosence. Its not all bad, if we learn to tolerate other people and thier choices. Don't let it upset you, enjoy teh ride. Those of us who do manage to get a lucid thought or two inbetween teh bombarment of scantily clad desi babes realize fairly quickly that this is all just insecurities manifesting themselves and over confidence. Yes muslim people have no business running around half naked and making out in cafes and doing all the juicy stuff that has always been there but never this openly exhibited, but then again, we are hardly muslms in anything else that we do either. It all makes sense my freind, if only you let the mask slide and see what Pakistan really is instead of what we may hope for it to be.

Viks: Thnku, that is always good to know. Hope you continue to enjoy what you read here.

Majaz: Its not as confusing as it is confused. IN terms of World history though, this is to be expected. We as a country need to strive in order to develop any sort of a viable infratsructure to actually build a nation on.
I find myself more amused than surprised. Sad thing though is that women somehow equate dressing in less cloth with greater independence. Wonder who figured that acting slutty meant gaining respect. Wonder who decided that being able to wear short skirts and tank tops makes you a superior person. But you talk to these slutty Desis, or most freshman students from pakistan in any uni abroad, and you;ll find that somehow they have managed to convince themselves that only through exposure can they find freedom. Wierd.

NF: AHem, cutting? Scary and witty i can get but cutting? You have a slut lover for a freind don't you? They are teh most hapless of all lovers... cuz really no one really wants to let go of a sure thing, but then no one really wants to share the person they love with the entire male population of thier demographic. Quite the predicament.

Luci: Almost exactly what i feel. ONly i think enlightened moderation is the only way out for us Pakis considering that we really have no identity to claim for ourselves. We can either be Muslims, and denounce our sub continental roots, or embrace our roots by expanding the liberties granted us by our religion. Finding the proper balance is virtually impossible, that is why we got our own country in teh first place, but i think its time we realized that rowing in two boats is a sure fire way of drowning.
Enlightened moderation comes into play because following the extremes we are currently experiencing in ths Stan is never going to amount to anything fruitful. Except civil war perhaps, which may be exactly what we need to once and for all recognize that we aren't anywhere near being considered a civilized people because we haven't even figured out who we are and to whom we belong.

Also welcome back to the blog, even if you commented on teh comments and not teh post itself, its always heartening to know that the great Luci is still gracing my blog with her opinions.
