Out of the pothole and into the pIt

WOW! I’m impressed. Lets all issue a collective hurrah for ourselves, we’ve certainly earned it. Pat your back black and blue you scions of democracy, you flag bearers of justice, what a victory you have managed, what triumph! You have proven, once and for all, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that if there is one nation under god (or under the sun or under whatever is now willing the bear the humiliation of being our patron omnipotent diety), which simply does not, never did and probably never will deserve the right to practice Free Will, it is Pakistan. For when we got the chance to caste our votes we caste them for a dead princess who was either a spineless pawn in the hands of her black hearted mother and sin loving husband, or an immoral witch with a soul evil enough to rape the legacy of her own father, who by the way wasn’t much in terms of worthy leaders either. Either way, well done oh people of Pakistan, you have managed to do the impossible and literally, butt fucked yourselves.
Hats of too Sindh in particular, not that I’ve ever had anything against the Sindhis, heaven knows the women are passion incarnate and oh so lovely, but by the grace of some powerful diety, sindh has managed to produce some remarkably astute evil dudes. Like international standards kay ghunday. It started with Bhutto, then Altaf, and now the Big Z, I guess its something to do with the putrid smell of dead fish hanging perpetually in the air, or the vast barren desert sands or maybe it’s the adopt the west as quickly as possible in all things evil first vibe of Karachi that somehow ferments nihilistically evil tendencies in the denizens of that province, but what’s remarkable is that the effects of it are so widespread that the people of Karachi, on paper the ‘smartest’ city in the country, decided to vote MQM into power. You know at this point believing in the elections having been rigged is being an optimist.
Civil War, anyone? Heaven knows it’s high time.

And a very happy defence day to you too.

P.S. Enough with the categories. Sindh isn't the sole responsible venom in the death of common sense in Pakistan. We are all idiots. We bury alive women in Baluchistan, gang rape them in Punjab and kill em all in Peshawar. And sometimes we do all of those things together in Karachi or Lahore or Quetta.

There is nothing Sindhi or Punjabi when it comes to plain gut-spilling stupidity.

agreed. But you must admit, there is something about poor Karachi which attracts the worst we have on offer. Plus i juts can't get over the fact that Karachiites voted MQM back into power, i really held the people of KHi in higher esteem than that fact permits.

I won't forgive Karachiites either for bringing MQM in power. But this certainly isn't the worst we brought to the country. Bugti and those other tribal nutcrackers are probably just as worse. MQM waalay toh phir sudhar gaye hain, playing the power politics and siding with the biggest dog now.

These crazy militants are still on the loose. Someone stop them too and call them the worst please.

For what it's worth, MQM is actually extremely loyal to Karachi; thus i couldn't care less what its background is, or what crazy notanki is the fuhrer.
And from what i recall, the punjabis voted in the Sharif family as well as the Chaudry braaderaan, and the NWFP breeds horse riding psychos that claim polio vaccines causes 'na-mard pana)
And yes Majaz, the Bugtis are just about the worst Pakistan can produce, after the women-buriers ofcourse.

Pakistanis have the patent on stupidity. Luckily we export and reproduce ourselves so fast that the world will soon be able to catch up with us.

See Sajjad
Some people still love MQM. Loyal to Karchi my ass.
Altaf Hussain is a fucking cartoon. And the last two massacres in karachi, disrupting CJ rallies was one hell of a proof of loyalty. And a history of twenty years, written in blood of so many people, including one of only undisputedly love personality in Hakim Syed, is ah so loyal.

A party who is rooted in linguistic hatred (Mahajar Quomi movement, remember), a fucking ass of a leader who sits in UK orchestrating bloodshood from there, is so loved by Karachiates and funny thing is, not all these idiots are eneducated morons, but rather the literates who just cant help themselves loving the guy who talks about mahajars, trying so hard to even convince themselves that its nothing to do with racial hatred.
My god, i hate altaf Hussain, and btw, Bugti for all his faults, at least had courage and stood up and died for whatever he believed in. Altaf behanchood is devoid of any integrity whatsoever.

They're all nuts as far as I am concerned.

None of them, not Bugti (faults, Barooq? The guy killed how many, remember?), not Altaf, not Mustufa Kamaal, not Musharraf, not anyone is really devoted to this country which is going to bring it down to it's freaking knees.

We're all idiots. No one is listening to intelligent people who actually will bring a change. We're too busy finding hatred, too busy calling each other Punjabi and Pathan and Muhajirs and too busy burying women and too busy gangraping women in the name of honor to see what is really happening.

Too busy being completely f*cked up.

Barooq,
MQM will continue to be elected by the people of Karachi as long as district level elections will keep being held. Karachiites don't have an ounce of resect for Altaf Hussain, they never have had, but they know who will do what for the city. And for what it's worth, Karachi isn't a muhajir city anymore, even though MQM will continue to represent it. And as far as racial politics are concerned, name one party that doesn't indulge in it. The PPP president (the truly 'social' party)called a full day off in Sindh only. Why not the whole country? The Sharif family is based in Punjab, it barely has any following in any other province.
Altaf Hussain is as big a fucking cartoon as Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan, and Maulvi Fazlullah.

Bugti died for what he believed in?! Which was what, i'm sorry? The right to blow up Sui gas pipe lines? Oh yes, those pipe lines were passing through his Balochi land. Yup, tonnes of integrity there.
The senator who justified the Balochi tribal custom of burying women alive was standing up for what he believed in too.
So are those militants.
Pakistan would do better with people with no 'integrity', than this kind of insane dedication.

Spare me. Using swear words don't make your argument any stronger.

First of all, i wasnt arguing. And spare me for this horseshit : "Karachiites don't have an ounce of resect for Altaf Hussain"
i have seen people dying over his words and not too far ago when the asshole played the resignation drame, i remember how Karachi turned upside down. So dont tell me karachiates dont respect altaf, a majority adores him and i know enough people from karachi to know this.
Bugti blew up gas pipe lines, but do you know why ? I hated Bugti, but no matter how much I pretend, we both know Balochistan had always been neglected and his fight against it was wrong, but at least he had integrity TO DIE. read again, the integrity is in death, not in running off to london.

And whats wrong with Imran Khan ?

And no politician, including Zardari or Sharif family can even begin to match the bloodshood your ALtaf Bhai caused. I know it hurts when we call Altaf anything, but that only proves my point.

B, totally with you on this one, in every aspect. I'm sorry but really for the entire populace of the most commercially viable city in our country to fall for the eye wash being doled out by a man who has proven beyond the shadow of plausible doubt that he is evil as can be is beyond absurd, its heart breaking. MQM builds a couple of roads in time for the elections and really the citizenry turns out to be stupid enough to buy in to what he's so obviously selling and elect the same party into power that not nearly long enough ago literally set the city on fire through random bloodshed and all out gang warfare (not to mention the torture cells) speaks loudly of that bastard's understanding of the gullibility of the people he is trying to govern.
I wasn't in Karachi when the shit hit the fan, i don't even like Karachi that much but the memory of the curfews and the army coming in to rescue the citizenry from random violence at the hands of the Mohajir Qaumi Movement still make my blood boil. And the people of Karachi are willing to forgive, forget, embrace and go to bed with the gangster? It do boggle the mind. It Do, no matter how vociefrously anyone chooses to sing Altaf's praises, they must accept a certain degree of chagrin from those of thier fellow countrymen who harbor hopes of greater intellect and foresight from them.
As for Bugti, again i must admit i agree with Barooq, for yes he did not surrender his honor or his belief in whatever the hell he was fighting for, whether it was freedom or the right to kill unborn female children, he fought to the death and he did not insult the intelligence of his fellow country men with rhetoric so moronic that its a surprise anyone does even buy into it. Although, he might as well have, seeing how well absurdity seems to agree with the intellectual appetites of the nation. Bugti dseserved to die, no question, but that doesn't mean that Altaf or Zardari don't. I will concede that in my personal opinion Altaf and Zardari represent a greater threat to the country (and therefore deserve gruesome and immediate deaths more) because they aspire to command EVERYTHING. Their agenda is not freedom, their agenda is not liberty or justice no matter how skewed Bugti's perception of these otherwise noble pursuits may have been. They desire coffers filled beyond capacity, they desire to control and manipulate and in the truest sense of the word, are terrorists. One kills his wife, the other random citizens and all for what? Not for the greater good, not for the lesser good even, only for the pacification of their own agendas. And we as a nation are not only willing to accept these traits we actually have the temerity to endorse them with our votes?
I believe that the ladies partaking in this discourse have kept the inhumane treatment of women as the centeral focus in their arguments which frankly is a little sels involved and narrow sighted, its not women's rights alone that are at stake here, its freedom itself, its the right of every human being to choose someone to follow as opposed to having a leader thrust upon them who is known to be clinically insane besides being corrupt and a criminal. It's about choosing to give power to the likes of ALtaf who has proven time and time again that not only is he a spineless despot, he's as devoid of humanity as you would expect of a man who constructs torture cells to keep his own in line and to bring more and more within his fold.
And Barooq, in summation, let me just say that the title of behenchod is a perfect fit for the man, hell it should be his last name from now on, Altaf Hussain Bhencod even has a nice, judicious ring to it. And incidentally, while you hold gang rape and female genocide as the be all end all of inhumanity without considering the fact that these things are not nearly a Pakistani problem but one of a defunct human mind and exist all over the known world, the only difference is that when such a thing does transpire in other parts of the world, it is not used to turn the victim or the criminal into a hero of sorts to be hailed and respected and fawned over by the entire community. And yet, here we are condoning and endorsing and debating about the demerits of a man who has in all likely hood murdered his wife and another who is purported to have stripped all semblance of virtue from of the best known female artists of Pakistan. Do you really think that these bastards don't practive thier perversion on whatever woman they can get thier hands on? YOu seem to neglect the reality that the ones you are condemning for these acts are those who openly admitted to them, or at least were unable to deny having done them due to an inherent belief in a right to do so or the lack of hypocritical eloquence when defending themselves. While the Altaf's and the zardari's amongst us lie to our faces, insulting our intelligence at every given opportunity and what do we do? We simply prove that they are in fact not insulting our intelligence because we bartered it for the comfort of knowing that we are able to support our racial peers while condemning everyone who does not subscribe to or belongs to our school of thought.
It seems that progressing as a nation, in unison has never occurred to us except for under the rule of a certain usurper who has proven through his dictatorial rule that the only way to herd us towards progress is by shoving a rod up our collective asses and making sure we keep facing the right direction irrespective of how desperately we want to head for the cliff. However, Kudos to us for having managed to turn right around and jump head first into the ditch anyway because we simply don't like to be told what is right even when we know that we are wrong.

And really, what is wrong with Imran Khan?
Also, i reiterate, Cicil war anyone, it is indeed high time.

Just to add one thing.
Torture cells are not a myth.
Farooq Sattar, an esteemed guest at my engagement, was introduced as to me as Dr.Farooq Sattar. And his next line was

"Practice to nahi ki, albatta amputations aur surgeries bohat ki hain"

The ass almost giggled while bragging about his torture, and even at totally unsuitable ocassion, and in front of complete stranger ( ME, the supposed groom to be), he couldn't contain himself bragging about it.
