Hum kay theh-ray ajnabee, itnee madaratoon kay baad.
Phir banain gay aashna, kitnee mulaqatoon kay baad.
Kab nazar mien aaye gee, bay-daagh sabzay kee bahaar
Khoon kay dhabay dhulain-gay, kitnee barsatoon kay baad
Dil to cha-ha, per shiakst-e-dil nay muhlat he na dee,
Kuch gilay, shikway bhee kar laytay munajaatoon kay baad
Thay buhat be-dard lamhay, khatmay-dard-e-ishq kay
Thee buhat be-mehr subhain, meharbaan ratoon kay baad
Un say jo kehnay gaye thay, Faiz jaan sadqa kiye
Unkahi he reh gaee who baat sab batoon kay baad
Faiz, recited by Nayara Noor. A tour de force of unbridled tears pouring never from the eyes. But inexorably from the heart. Suppressed without, relentless within.

jesus christ
i sleep at 8, say hello to the sun, drop the brother to school, say bubye to parents and then my day is complete.
luci is online too.. sending me hot pictures of herself.. she should join us in our sadness..
her hot pics?? cant really be seen by men actually.. ahahhaha... no no after her far from normal blogger profile pic shes showing some normal ones where you can SEE her rather than some shadowy figure..
Faiz is the name of my male alter ego. thank you for the credit.
:( i'm all curious now puwease temme who. Pretty puwease.
Or don't, whatever.
Luci: yur welcome.
Dp: there's nothing anonymous about me here, cept for teh fact that the people i know by face don't know this blog exists. I'm beginning to feel i respect the ones here in blog world a teensy bit more... u r the one who doens't even have a profile.:S SOm if you think your anaonymity will not be at risk by all means beam me up to your msn list.
Lady: Okay i take the uncanny resenablance to the ex part, this is way out of character for her. And hua kuch nae hai just wanted to share this beautiful ghazal with my discerning blog buddies, paricularly expressome who's as cuckoo over faiz as i am. The first stanze of your sher reads like Parveen shakir, ends like Iqbal. If its original i've rendered unduly high praise upon you, so have a nice day;)
wow im writing sentences in 2/3 enligh sand 1/3 urdu. haha. thats dinglish for those who dont know :P Here in Dubai we cant speak a sentence straight in one language.
Luci: Dinglish sounds like your kinda language.
Henna: Thankyou, good pic;)
Ozzy: Welcome back buddy! You didn't miss much, looking forward to your responses.
Sara: From your blog i gather yur new here so welcome to blogistan. Btw Thts Faiz up there... you dun say not bad to Faiz, you say divine, outstanding, mind blowing etc etc. Basically much greater praise than not bad, but i'll take it. Hope you like being here.
That is my FAVORITE!! and i do mean FAVORITE ghazal by Faiz sung by Nayyara Noor. and yes when i wrote the "cd excitement" wala post, i was listening to this. Very very ironic. stranger yet is that it was playing again when I was reading your comment on my blog. The comment deserves a very long reply which I am going to get to doing as soon as I can. last day of school today so my blog will definitely burst with activity very soon Inshallah. And u r the first who is gonna be addressed, all im gonna say here and now is thank u, thank u very much, and im not just thanking you for the compliments, but for alot more than that, tyring not to make this encrypted or very long on your blog, will address details later. "hum kay theray Ajnabi" has a long, weird, twisted story to it...let's just say I get goose bumps almost everytime I hear it. Will definitely share more on my blog.
btw, disco papaya, if you or ppl u no want to remain truly anonymous, mentioning Jaffer or his brother here would not be the best idea =)
